About the Role
Pharmaron is looking to recruit a Chemist to join our Tritium team in Cardiff.
In support of business and client requirements, contribute to the overall output of the department through the application of technical knowledge, expertise and skills in operations and manufacturing of labelled compounds.
Key Responsibilities
- The opportunity for growth and development and to engage in a variety of chemistry types with typically 7 – 10 different syntheses carried out over the course of a working year.
- Learn about and work with a range of chemical classes (eg: heterocyclic compounds, peptides, polymers, antibody drug conjugates, oligonucleotides, saccharides, etc..)

Candidate Profile
- PhD or MSc in (Synthetic) Organic Chemistry with good synthetic lab experience.
- Industrial experience an advantage.
- Experience of chromatographic techniques, both analytical and preparative.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer literate.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and as part of a team.
- Conscientious and meticulous in laboratory work.
- Good time management skills and ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Proven ability to problem solve.
- Willing to get involved with new ideas and initiatives.
- Eligible to live and work in the UK.
