Undergraduate Industrial Placement Student, DMPK

Pharmaron is looking for the next generation of pharmaceutical scientists so if you love drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics (DMPK) and want to use it in pharmaceutical research and development, Pharmaron is the place for you. We have a 12-month placement in our DMPK department, starting in summer 2024:
As part of a dynamic and innovative team, you will work alongside other chemistry experts and science partners to provide innovative DMPK solutions that help advance our clients’ programmes and bring new medicines to the market. During your 12-month placement, you will have the opportunity to learn and follow and apply in vitro DMPK laboratory methods to answer project questions. Working in brand new state-of-the-art laboratories you will be able to use your knowledge and skills to contribute to exciting R&D projects and make an impact on human health.

Requirements:
- Studying towards an undergraduate degree with a significant Chemistry component
- Predicted 1st or 2:1 degree classification (or equivalent)
- Strong teamwork skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Good problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Conscientious
- Well-organised and confident to work independently
