Job Introduction
Undergraduate Industrial Placement Student, Drug Discovery
Pharmaron is looking for the next generation of pharmaceutical scientists so if you love Drug Discovery and want to use it in pharmaceutical research and development, Pharmaron is the place for you.
We have a number of 12-month placements in our Drug Discovery department, starting in summer 2024. As part of our dynamic and collaborative team, you will work alongside other chemistry experts and science partners to provide innovative analytical solutions that help advance our clients’ programmes and bring new medicines to the market.
The Drug Discovery department, based in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire, UK provides world-class drug discovery leadership to our partners in the life-science industry. As trusted collaborators, and in synergy with the capabilities and resources of the global Pharmaron group, this multi- disciplinary science team delivers quality, small-molecule preclinical candidates across a diversity of therapeutic areas and routes of administration.

Requirements:
- Studying towards an undergraduate degree with a
- significant Chemistry component
- Predicted 1st or 2:1 degree classification (or
- equivalent)
- Strong teamwork skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Good problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Conscientious
- Well-organised and confident to work
