Process Sciences Industrial Placement x2
Joining the Process Sciences team at Pharmaron Liverpool will empower you to apply your scientific knowledge in the exciting field of gene therapy. Through an industrial placement within the Upstream or Downstream team, you will build both practical and technical scientific skills in a variety of production and purification techniques (from cell culture to chromatography!) by conducting research that supports the development of innovative medicinal products. Requirements:
- Studying towards an undergraduate degree in life sciences (i.e. Molecular/Cell Biology, Biomedical Science, Biochemistry, Microbiology Biotechnology etc.).
- Predicted 1st or 2:1 degree classification (or equivalent).
- Strong teamwork skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Good problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Conscientious
- Well-organised and confident to work independently
