- BSc. degree (or equivalent) in chemistry or a related field
- For those with BSc: Experience is not a prerequisite, but any work experience that requires good customer service, work ethics and team playing is advantageous
- For those with Highschool/A-levels: Evidence of strong industrial experience, typically with at least 3 years’ experience in such a role
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach
- Excellent planning and organization skills - Ability to multi-task, manage time and accept changing priorities
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Good stakeholder and relationship management
- Collaborative ability
- Work within and ability to effectively contribute to multidisciplinary scientific teams and environment
- IT skills with a good working knowledge of MS Office
- Maintaining the system for sending equipment and instruments for external calibration.
- Overseeing the waste management in the laboratory.
- Implementation of 5S sustainability on laboratory instruments and areas.
- Preparation of buffers and reagents to support analytical methods.
- Testing and release of raw materials, chemicals and solvents.
- Cleaning and maintenance of laboratory instrumentation.
- Managing shipping requests.
- Filing and management of GMP documentation.
- Support departmental or site audits as directed by manager / supervisor as necessary and within skills and ability capacity, undertake additional activities as assigned by the scientific supervisor / Line Manager
