About the Role
We’re looking for a Planning and Compliance Engineer to join our team in Cramlington. To plan and co-ordinate Engineering activities on site and to ensure site assets and systems are compliant and develop site compliance and asset integrity and management strategy.
Key Responsibilities
• Inspect and estimate tasks that are candidates for planning and scheduling
• Utilise systems to enter, retrieve and communicate the various planning and scheduling information and parts ordering
• Manage all aspects of compliance for lower tier COMAH site by managing and developing the integrity and asset care programs for the site ensuring regulatory and good practice maintenance are in place that meet the required standards.
• Ensure equipment is designed, maintained, operated, and decommissioned following the best industry practices.
• Knowledge of HSE requirements for a COMAH site to ensure safe systems of work, risk assessments, pressure systems directives, statutory requirements and legislation.
• Updates job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging compliance engineering practices and standards (EEMUA, ISO, API, ASME, BS, HSG, L8, LOLER)
• Work between Maintenance, projects and HSE department on all asset qualification, ensuring all assets are fit for use, compliant to current legislation.
• Work with maintenance and HSE on investigations
• Ensure any coded repairs have correct procedure, documentation, and testing.
• Determine the scope, trade, personnel, tools, parts and equipment needs of each task and document the job plan as a means of reducing delays to maintenance activities by assessing tasks on plant
Candidate Profile
Essential
• Minimum HNC/ Foundation Degree in engineering
• Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience
• Advanced planning and scheduling skills
• Familiar with material resource planning (MRP)
• Experienced using Microsoft Office 365 platform
Desirable
• Understanding of Enterprise Management Systems
