We are looking for:
Principal Scientist Drug Product (Analytical Chemistry)
As a technical expert in Drug Product Development, you'll have the chance to unleash your advanced knowledge in a variety of analytical techniques, working on method development, validation and transfer. You will be responsible for leading a team of senior scientists and oversee the analytical support of several Chemistry and/or Drug Product projects. You will be responsible for the quality of the support given within your team and ensure that quality data and results are reported to Clients in team meetings. This role contributes to the overall scientific effectiveness and the strategy of the department.

Key roles and responsibilities:
- Leading multidisciplinary teams and analytical projects to tight deadlines
- Developing, troubleshooting and validating HPLC and Dissolution methods
- Able to implement new analytical techniques to support projects
- Ability to solve multiple complex scientific problems
- Able to work effectively in a GMP laboratory
- Present and communicate clearly and effectively with clients
Requirements:
- PhD or BSc/MSc in Analytical Chemistry and relevant Industry experience in an Analytical Chemistry laboratory.
- An expert in troubleshooting and developing HPLC and Dissolution methods
- In-depth, hands-on expertise and up-to-date knowledge of other analytical methodologies.
- Understanding of other separation techniques such as LC/MS, SFC and/or GC.
- A clear understanding of the drug development process.
- Experience in leading teams of scientists, including senior levelled scientists.
- Strong scientific track record.
You are considered an expert in Analytical Chemistry Drug Product Development combined with a solid expertise in HPLC, Dissolution, KF, Disintegration, stability analysis and drug product development. Knowledge of GC, SFC, MS and other analytical methodologies utilized to characterize APIs would be an advantage. In addition, a good knowledge of QbD, DoE, instrument qualification and laboratory management would be desirable.
