We are looking for:
We are looking for a Technical Specialist with experience in Tissue Imaging to use their expertise in whole-body autoradiography (WBA) to manage and conduct the analytical phase Metabolism studies for new product development, based on global regulatory requirements.

Requirements:
  • MSc or BSc (Hons) in Biology, Biochemistry or related subject - (Desirable)
  • Experience of a wide range of Histology techniques working in a GLP environment
  • Technical expertise for all aspects of QWBA studies
  • Specialist expertise in sectioning and sample preparation for mARG studies, QWBA:
  • Sample preparation, quantitation, QWBA report preparation and data interpretation mARG: Sample preparation, photo-microscopy, IHC, report preparation and data interpretation
  • Experienced in Scientific data interpretation, reporting and presentation skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively present scientific findings to colleagues and clients
Key roles and responsibilities:
  • Take full responsibility for the conduct of experimental work to successfully fulfil all the requirements of studies to the timelines in the study plan.
  • Perform the full range of techniques involved in supporting whole body autoradiography studies (preparation, sectioning, exposure, plate scanning, image preparation, quantification).
  • Develop training materials and deliver training in area of specialism.
  • Lead process improvement/new service development projects in their specialist area.
  • Work with Study Director on client communication, contributing scientifically to client discussions, as appropriate.
  • Help to prepare study plans, amendments, file notes and deviations, as required
  • Prepare QWBA reports for assigned studies.  Provide data interpretation, images and quantitative data (where relevant).
  • Engage in any discussions with Sponsor arising from data interpretation as an autoradiography expert
