We are looking for:
A proactive and detail-oriented Materials Management Operative to join our Process Chemistry team in Hoddesdon. This role is essential in supporting GMP production, supply, and waste management activities, ensuring efficient service delivery across departments and compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements:
- Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or materials management role, ideally within a GMP or regulated environment.
- Familiarity with handling hazardous and temperature-sensitive materials.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic IT and data entry skills.
- Forklift license or willingness to train (desirable).
- Understanding of GMP, Health & Safety, and Environmental standards (desirable).
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Receive, store, and deliver materials, including hazardous and GMP-critical items.
- Perform stock checks, maintain inventory systems, and manage sampling and dispensing.
- Carry out general warehouse duties including loading/unloading and administrative tasks.
- Communicate with internal teams to ensure material needs are met efficiently.
- Safely collect, list, and process hazardous and non-hazardous waste in line with procedures.
- Clean manufacturing areas and equipment to GMP standards.
- Operate departmental equipment and report any issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate training records and uphold confidentiality and safety standards.
- Support continuous improvement of working areas and practices.

Pharmaron acquired the Hoddesdon campus, consisting of several purpose-built scientific and administrative buildings together with a purpose-built conference area in February 2017. The research building has more than 5,000m2 of premier R&D space and houses an established Process Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry and Drug Discovery teams. In addition, a Formulation Development team was also recently established. The Hoddesdon site has state-of-the-art Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standard facilities for the development of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API), Formulation Development (FD) and Process Chemistry (PC).
