We’re seeking a Business Development Operations Manager to manage and support the operational aspects of client accounts. In this pivotal role, you will work as part of the Strategic Partnerships team to drive efficiency, growth, and exceptional client service. As a Business Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of client accounts while helping to build and maintain strong relationships that enhance client satisfaction and business success.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Oversee the management of client accounts, ensuring operational excellence and high client satisfaction.
- Support the Senior Director, Strategic Partnerships by providing detailed account analyses and strategic insights to expand business with existing large pharma and strategic partner clients.
- Serve as a liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring client needs are addressed promptly and effectively.
- Deliver tailored client proposals, aligning them with organizational goals and client expectations.
- Build and nurture customer relationships through regular communication and high-quality service delivery.
- Develop strategies to deepen relationships and expand the scope of business with existing clients.
- Implement strategies for effective account management that focus on improving client retention and satisfaction.
- Monitor and report on the performance of client accounts, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate closely with the Strategic Partnerships team to ensure smooth integration of operations with sales strategies.
- Address and resolve complex client issues in collaboration with Business Development and operational teams.
- Use CRM tools to manage client interactions and maintain up-to-date, accurate client data.
- Work with Marketing to ensure that campaigns and strategies align with client needs and operational capabilities.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely fulfilment of client commitments and address operational challenges proactively.
Role Requirements:
- BSc in chemistry or a related subject
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Pharmaceutical industry or CRO
- Strong leadership abilities and a proactive approach to client service excellence.
- High level of confidentiality with respect to client and company information.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead by example.
- Impeccable attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Capacity to adapt your approach based on customer needs and effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
